Softball Recap: St. Henry Takes a Loss

St. Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 25-8 to the Beechwood Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 22-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Beechwood, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coming up, St. Henry will square off against Newport Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thoroughbreds will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beechwood, they will challenge Conner at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
