Baseball Recap: Campbell Camels vs. Holcomb Hornets
Campbell extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 7-13. They came up short against the Holcomb Hornets, falling 17-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.
As for Holcomb, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by nine runs or more this season.
For Holcomb's part, Bryce McNabb and Keaton Cunningham did most of the damage at the plate: McNabb got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Cunningham went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Cunningham is on a roll when it comes to hits, as he's now got three or more in each of the last three games he's played.
