Basketball Game Preview: Pinecrest Academy Paladins vs. Valor Christian Lions

Pinecrest Academy is 0-7 against Valor Christian since January of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Paladins will head out to take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Pinecrest Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Valor Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Pinecrest Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Fulton Science Academy 54-27 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Valor Christian came up short against Horizon Christian Academy on Tuesday and fell 56-48.

The win got Pinecrest Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Valor Christian, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Pinecrest Academy was dealt a bruising 55-19 loss at the hands of Valor Christian when the teams last played back in November. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Paladins were down 38-6.
