Basketball Recap: Blake Finds Playoff Glory Versus King

It's playoff time, and Blake had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the King Lions 79-36 on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 24 points or more this season.

Joe Philon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 of 16 en route to 23 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Terrence Small also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Blake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for King, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-21 record.

Blake will take on Chamberlain on Friday. Blake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.2 points per game this season. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
