Softball Recap: Wesley Chapel Wildcats vs. Pasco Pirates
After soaring to ten runs the game before, Wesley Chapel was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pasco Pirates. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 14-3.
Wesley Chapel got a good showing from Ashley Bolt, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Bolt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Wesley Chapel saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madisen Stewart, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Juliana Martin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
