Basketball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss

Plainfield South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 57-49 to the Morton Potters. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 60-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Morton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.

Plainfield South will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tinley Park at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Morton, they will venture away from home to challenge Normal Community at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
