Recap: Callaway Chargers vs. Germantown Mavericks

The Callaway Chargers won against the Germantown Mavericks on Tuesday with 80 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Callaway put the hurt on Germantown with a sharp 80-56 victory. With Callaway ahead 44-23 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Callaway's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaden Hayes, who scored 27 points along with nine rebounds. The match was Hayes' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Javarian Mallard, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.

The win got Callaway back to even at 6-6. As for Germantown, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Callaway will challenge Northwest Rankin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Rankin has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 25. Germantown is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. The timing is sure in Clinton's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Germantown has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
