Volleyball Recap: Logan Falls Short Against Ranked Texico

Logan faced Texico in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Longhorns lost 3-0 to the Wolverines. The loss continues a trend for the Longhorns in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost five in a row.

Logan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-22.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Texico, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Logan and Clayton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for Texico, they will challenge Santa Rosa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
