Burges has gone a perfect 3-0 against Bel Air recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Burges Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the Bel Air Highlanders at 11:30 a.m. Burges will be strutting in after a win while Bel Air will be coming in after a defeat.

Burges will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Hanks, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Burges narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Hanks 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Ivan Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Bel Air was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Da Vinci, falling 9-0.

Bel Air saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Ponce, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Burges' win bumped their record up to 4-6-2. As for Bel Air, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Burges came out on top in a nail-biter against Bel Air in their previous meeting on Tuesday, sneaking past 7-6. Will Burges repeat their success, or does Bel Air have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
