After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Livingston Academy, Jackson County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the York Institute Dragons. Jackson County haven't had any issues with York Institute recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jackson County's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for York Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1.

Coming up, Jackson County will head out on the road to square off against Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson County will be up against Smith County's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for York Institute, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sequoyah at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. York Institute are facing Sequoyah at the right time seeing as Sequoyah are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
