Soccer Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mills University Studies two weeks ago, Danville came back down to earth. The Little Johns came up short against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards on Monday, falling 6-0. Danville haven't had much luck with Dardanelle recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Danville now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Dardanelle, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Danville will square off against Harmony Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dardanelle, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Prairie Grove on the 1st.
