Basketball Recap: Salina Takes a Loss

Salina suffered their closest defeat since January 13th on Monday. They fell just short of the Kansas Comets by a score of 45-42. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Salina's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Kansas, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Salina nor Kansas have any future games scheduled.
