Basketball Recap: Rocksprings Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Rocksprings won the last time they faced Utopia, and Hunter Taylor did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rocksprings Angoras came out on top against the Utopia Buffaloes by a score of 82-73 on Tuesday thanks in part to Taylor, who dropped a triple-double on 28 points, 18 boards, and ten assists. That's the most boards he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Rocksprings is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to assists: they averaged an imposing 6.38 assists in those games compared to only 6.38 in the others. As for Utopia, they moved to 19-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Rocksprings will challenge Comstock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Utopia, they will take on Leakey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Utopia is facing Leakey at the right time seeing as Leakey is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
