Basketball Game Preview: Knippa Crushers vs. Utopia Buffaloes

The Knippa Crushers will face off against the Utopia Buffaloes at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Utopia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Knippa, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Knippa beat Rocksprings 47-40.

Meanwhile, Utopia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 44-32 to D'Hanis.

Knippa pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Utopia, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Knippa might still be hurting after the 65-44 loss they got from Utopia in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. Can the Crushers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
