Baseball Recap: Flanagan Comes Up Short

Flanagan saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the King's Academy Lions by a score of 5-4. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Cabrera was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Carter Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Flanagan's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Flanagan will square off against ABF Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for King's Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as King's Academy Lions challenge Boca Raton Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
