Basketball Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 62-43 fall against the Washington Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 58-55 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Stevens will take on Lincoln at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Stevens surely won't give up without a fight. As for Washington, they will face off against Rapid City Central at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Washington will be up against Rapid City Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.85 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
