Basketball Recap: Livonia Comes Up Short

Livonia was the 33-31 winner over Dansville when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Livonia Bulldogs took a hard 40-26 fall against the Dansville Mustangs on Friday.

Livonia's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Dansville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Livonia and Dansville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Livonia (ranked 221st) will meet Hornell (ranked 21st) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dansville will take on Keshequa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 242 places (265 vs. 23).
