Volleyball Game Preview: Eastern Wayne Warriors vs. North Pitt Panthers + How To Watch

The Eastern Wayne Warriors will square off against the North Pitt Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 18 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Eastern Wayne and five for North Pitt.

Eastern Wayne came up short against Smithfield-Selma on Monday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when North Pitt faced off against SouthWest Edgecombe on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Cougars since September 7, 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-14.

Eastern Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for North Pitt, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Eastern Wayne might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from North Pitt when the teams last played back in September. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
