Football Recap: Fox Chapel's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Fox Chapel's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past the East Allegheny Wild Cats with points to spare, taking the game 37-22. The victory was some much needed relief for the Foxes as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Fox Chapel had a senior duo take command as Joey Geller rushed for 122 yards and two TDs and Max Melocchi gained 212 total yards and three touchdowns. Those 122 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Geller.

Fox Chapel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Fox Chapel's record is now 3-7. As for East Allegheny, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Fox Chapel nor the Wild Cats have any future games scheduled.
