Baseball Recap: Thompson Falls Short Against Ranked Tuscaloosa County

Thompson faced Tuscaloosa County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on Tuesday.

Thompson's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 29-13. As for Tuscaloosa County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-12.

As of now, neither Thompson nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
