Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Dragons vs. East Hall Vikings

Jefferson has won six straight games at home, while East Hall has won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Jefferson Dragons will welcome the East Hall Vikings at 7:30 p.m. East Hall took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jefferson, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Monroe Area, but they still walked away with a 46-41 victory. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Purple Hurricanes are ranked 345th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, East Hall unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a blow against Holy Innocents Episcopal, falling 86-38. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jefferson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for East Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.
