Basketball Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva was the 53-51 winner over Kirtland when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Geneva Eagles took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kirtland Hornets on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Kirtland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Geneva will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lakeside at 6:45 p.m. As for Kirtland, they will venture away from home to face off against Andrews Osborne Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
