Soccer Game Preview: Van Buren vs. Siloam Springs

Van Buren hasn't had much luck against Siloam Springs recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Pointers are taking a road trip to square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Van Buren's offense. They came up short against Siloam Springs back in March, falling 7-0. Van Buren have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win was the fifth in a row for Siloam Springs, bringing their record up to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five games. As for Van Buren, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Van Buren might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Siloam Springs in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Pointers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
