Basketball Recap: Osceola's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Osceola won the last time they faced Cornerstone Christian School, and Kelby Neujahr did his part to make sure it happened again. The Osceola Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars on Friday thanks in part to Neujahr, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten boards, and nine assists. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (six).

Another player making a difference was Brayden Santos, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Osceola's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Cornerstone Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Osceola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-25 victory against Hampton on the 11th. As for Cornerstone Christian School, they will square off against Heartland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
