Soccer Game Preview: Oshkosh West vs. Homestead + How To Watch

The Oshkosh West Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Homestead Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oshkosh West came up short against Germantown on Thursday, falling 7-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Oshkosh West were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Homestead's offense. They lost 5-0 to Whitefish Bay on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Homestead can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Whitefish Bay are ranked 21st).

Homestead has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 4-13 record this season. As for Oshkosh West, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1.
