Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Comes Up Short

Heritage Christian suffered their biggest defeat since February 19th on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 70-43 loss at the hands of the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eddie Riebe, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Riebe a new career-high in steals (four). Another player making a difference was Marcus Seroyer, who posted 12 points.

Heritage Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for University School of Milwaukee, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will welcome St. Francis at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 75.8 points per game this season. As for University School of Milwaukee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
