Hale Center hasn't had much luck against Ralls recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Hale Center will square off against Ralls at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Hale Center's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Sudan. The win was familiar territory for the Owls, who have now won four games in a row.
Miella Anguiano made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Hale Center got a massive performance out of Sofia Gomez, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four RBI gave Gomez a new career-high. Bella Ruiz was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4.
Hale Center kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sudan only managed four hits.
Meanwhile, Ralls got the win against Olton on Saturday by a conclusive 22-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jackrabbits.
Ralls let Adyson Bartlett and Destiny Garza run wild. Bartlett went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Garza scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Garza continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Hitt, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Hale Center's record is now 15-5. As for Ralls, their record is now 8-10-1.
Hale Center came up short against Ralls in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 9-6. Can Hale Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
