Volleyball Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

Peninsula came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since September 11th.

While Peninsula ultimately came up short, they really made Wiseburn- Da Vinci work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 26-24.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-12.

Peninsula didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against South on the 25th. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hawthorne on the 26th.
