Softball Recap: Indianapolis Shortridge Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Shortridge lost against Park Tudor back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils lost 30-9 to the Panthers. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Indianapolis Shortridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzi Sellers, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Sellers is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Hannah Obajolu was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Indianapolis Shortridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Indianapolis Shortridge will be playing at home against Indianapolis Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Park Tudor, they will head out to challenge Providence Cristo Rey at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
