Basketball Game Preview: Absegami Braves vs. Life Center Academy Warriors

The Absegami Braves will take on the Life Center Academy Warriors at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Absegami is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Middle Township just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Life Center Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 77-45 defeat at the hands of Saddle River Day. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Rebels are ranked 30th).

Life Center Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Absegami, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-3.
