Volleyball Recap: Daniel Boone Takes a Loss

Daniel Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Tennessee Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

Tennessee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addyson Gentry out in front who had 19 digs and one assist. Gentry has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Curtin, who had eight digs and two aces.

Daniel Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Tennessee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Daniel Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tennessee, they will take on Dobyns-Bennett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
