Volleyball Recap: Nederland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Nederland duked it out with Loveland Classical on Friday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Panthers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

River LeMaster paced Nederland's offense, picking up five kills. LeMaster got some help from Reya Levy and her five assists. Trinity Prahl controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nederland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Loveland Classical, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Nederland will face off against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loveland Classical, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against STEM School Highlands Ranch on the 20th.
