On Wednesday, Shadow Ridge got the W thanks in part to Cache Brown playing the best baseball he has all season. Brown pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The effort also marked the most strikeouts (three) he has had since March 1st.

Brown and Shadow Ridge will face off against Tolleson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brown had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup on March 10th 12-4.
