Basketball Recap: Gilford Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Gilford couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Kearsarge Cougars by a score of 48-45 on Friday. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Gilford's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Kearsarge, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Gilford nor Kearsarge have any future games scheduled.
