Soccer Recap: Charlotte Christian Comes Up Short

Charlotte Christian lost against Providence Day back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights lost 7-0 to the Chargers. While losing is never fun, Charlotte Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Providence Day are ranked 91st).

This is the second loss in a row for Charlotte Christian and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1. As for Providence Day, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Coincidentally, Charlotte Christian and Providence Day will both be playing Covenant Day the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Chargers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
