Sacred Heart is 9-1 against Lumberton since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Sacred Heart Crusaders will venture away from home to challenge the Lumberton Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Sacred Heart is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.8 runs per game this season.

Sacred Heart fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Meridian on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-8. The Crusaders have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jana Phillips was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Merci Garner, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lumberton took on Hattiesburg on Wednesday. Lumberton lost 14-4 to Hattiesburg. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sacred Heart fell to 4-1. As for Lumberton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.
