Basketball Recap: Central Valley Christian Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Central Valley Christian had won three straight home games and Caden Lloyd did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Central Valley Christian Cavaliers strolled past the Selma Bears with points to spare, taking the game 63-46 thanks in part to Lloyd, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Piepgrass, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Central Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Selma, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Central Valley Christian will face off against Exeter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Valley Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for Selma, they will take on Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
