Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Bayfield's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Bayfield extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lincoln Williams. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Bayfield Wolverines made off with a 50-49 victory over the Ignacio Bobcats thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 29 times he's played.

Bayfield is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
