Baseball Recap: Bosque Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dexter on Thursday, Bosque came back down to earth. The Bobcats came up short against the Ruidoso Warriors on Thursday, falling 32-15. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (12), the Bobcats still had to take the loss.

Bosque's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Ruidoso, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Bosque will challenge East Mountain at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Ruidoso, they will be playing at home against New Mexico Military Institute at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Colts will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
