Baseball Recap: Kellogg Gets the Win

While Kellogg's win against Fennville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers skirted past the Blackhawks 10-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Kellogg and bumps their season record up to 8-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Fennville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-21.

Looking ahead, Kellogg will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Barry County Christian at 4:30 p.m. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Fennville, they will head out to challenge Bangor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
