Volleyball Game Preview: Pinecrest Lakes Prep Eagles vs. Orlando Science Orcas

The Pinecrest Lakes Prep Eagles will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Orlando Science Orcas at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinecrest Lakes Prep is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Pinecrest Lakes Prep lost 3-0 to Faith Christian on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Faith Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Orlando Science came up short against Trinity Prep on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Pinecrest Lakes Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Orlando Science, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
