Kaiser hadn't done well against Cajon recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Cats had just enough and edged out the Cowboys 2-1. For the Cats, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Cowboys walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

The victory got Kaiser back to even at 5-5. As for Cajon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Kaiser will be taking part in a tournament against Palm Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Cajon, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on September 9.
