Soccer Recap: Canyon View Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Canyon View couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Jaguars couldn't quite close it out.

Canyon View's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Sunrise Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Canyon View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunrise Mountain, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Desert Edge on the 22nd.
