Football Recap: John Foster Hamm's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Zion Chapel over Goshen + How To Watch

If Zion Chapel was riding high fresh off their 44-0 takedown of Ellwood Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goshen Eagles on Friday. The Rebels have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Zion Chapel's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Foster Hamm, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 61 yards and one TD. Jerimiah Stinson was another key player, gaining 101 total yards and a touchdown.

Jaylon Vinson was a one-man wrecking crew For Goshen. as he rushed for 76 yards and two scores.

Having lost for the first time this season, Zion Chapel fell to 2-1. As for Goshen, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
