Soccer Game Preview: Sissonville vs. Trinity Christian

The Sissonville Indians will face off against the Trinity Christian Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Sissonville's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Trinity Christian has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Sissonville will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Poca on Thursday. The Indians put the hurt on the Dots with a sharp 4-1 victory. Sissonville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Poca with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cooper Hall (2), Landon Boyles, and Nick Balding.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Trinity Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charleston Catholic. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Trinity Christian couldn't quite close it out.

Sissonville's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
