Soccer Recap: Dreher Beats Providence for Their Third Straight Victory

Dreher's match on Monday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Providence Panthers get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering Dreher have won five games by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Providence with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Gray Berzins, NATALIE MONTAGUE, JILLIAN MUIR, and Mallory Gosselin.

The win (which was Dreher's third in a row) raised their record to 6-5. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Providence, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dreher will head out to take on York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence, they will venture away from home to face off against Legion Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
