Basketball Recap: BASIS Flagstaff Drops Season-High Score on Red Rock

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask BASIS Flagstaff). They strolled past the Red Rock Scorpions with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 82-63. The victory was nothing new for the Yetis as they're now sitting on four straight.

BASIS Flagstaff got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lincoln Bradford out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Bradford is now averaging an impressive 8.4 rebounds per game. Daniel Quiroz was another key player, going 7 for 10 on his way to 19 points and eight rebounds.

BASIS Flagstaff's record is now 5-1. As for Red Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

BASIS Flagstaff didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-56 victory against Grand Canyon on the 10th. As for Red Rock, they will face off against ALA - Anthem South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for ALA - Anthem South and three for Red Rock.
