Flag Football Game Preview: Bowdon Red Devils vs. Alexander Cougars

The Bowdon Red Devils will face off against the Alexander Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Bowdon 13.2, Alexander 14.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Thursday, Bowdon didn't have too much trouble with Callaway as they won 27-13.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Alexander's offense. They lost 25-0 to Lithia Springs on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Leo Lion are ranked 40th).

Bowdon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.1 points on average over those games. As for Alexander, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.
