The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-37 win over George Jenkins. The win was familiar territory for Jordan Christian Prep who now have seven in a row.
Leading Jordan Christian Prep to victory were Delissa Morris and Delyana Morris. Morris scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Morris scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Morris hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games.
Jordan Christian Prep's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. As for George Jenkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan Christian Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fort Meade at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Fort Meade's defense has only allowed 26.2 points per game this season, so Jordan Christian Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for George Jenkins, they will head out on the road to take on Lake Region at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Region will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
