Volleyball Recap: Wiregrass Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marianna, Wiregrass was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the East Central HomeSchool Patriots. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory back in September.

Wiregrass found their leader in sophomore Josie Duren, who had nine digs and two aces.

Wiregrass now has a winning record of 11-10. As for East Central HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Wiregrass will take on Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Kings surely won't give up without a fight. East Central HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
